Dense 0.0.0 script details Dense was created because the smartphone market has fragmented too much and is now a jungle of screens at different resolutions and with different pixel ratio densities.
The Dense plugin works by sniffing the user-agent string for mobile browsers and performing a basic feature detection to see if the user's device supports Retina (HiDPI) graphics.
If this is so, then Dense will detect the type of pixel ratio density level the device can work at and serve appropriate images based on the result.
The plugin is very easy to use, can be activated via one line of code, and is also very small when it comes to disk size.
Besides jQuery, the Dense plugin also supports the Zepto.js library.
